What is Tournament of Minds

Testimonials

The learning from TOM can actually be applied to real life. The skills are those that students will use in further study and in the workplace
When I graduated from University and was applying for jobs, many of the interview tasks involved public speaking and team work. I was told I was hired because I had excellent communication and presentation skills, I could work well in a team and lead without being too dominating. I was able to use my time effectively and get along with the other candidates
There's a whole range of Leadership skills that come through from Tournament of Minds that are critical to your later life
My self-worth grew a bit and I became more confident to express my idea because no one was going to shut it down. I slowly just became more and more confident
It sounds a bit corny but the phrase of TOM 'it's the journey, not the destination'. I think it really is so true. At the end of the day it wasn't about winning, I loved the process. Just being involved in it was what I really loved
